Skill Development Initiatives
Government College for Women, Lakhan Majra, Rohtak, Haryana, is committed to enhancing employability and skill development among its students through active participation in various government-sponsored internship and skill development schemes. Dr. Pradeep Kumar has been designated as the Nodal Officer to coordinate and oversee the implementation of these initiatives at the institutional level.
The college has successfully registered more than 200 students under the following schemes:
AI-Based Internship Scheme — Providing students with hands-on exposure to Artificial Intelligence tools and applications, preparing them for emerging career opportunities in the technology sector.
Pradhan Mantri Internship Scheme (PMIS) — A flagship Government of India initiative offering students valuable industry exposure and practical internship opportunities with leading organizations to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world skills.
Haryana Internship Policy under State Support Mission — A state government initiative aimed at facilitating structured internship opportunities for students within Haryana, fostering skill enhancement and industry readiness.
