Talent Displayed in Poster-Making Competition on Environmental Conservation

A poster-making competition on the theme of environmental conservation was successfully organized jointly by the Department of Geography and the Sewa Sankalp Abhiyaan Committee of Government College for Women, Lakhan Majra.
The programme was organized under the guidance of Principal Indu Sapra, and the students participated enthusiastically. Through attractive and creative posters, the participants conveyed messages promoting a clean environment, plantation, and conservation of nature.
In the competition, Riya, B.A. First Year, secured the first position, Sunita, B.A. Second Year, secured the second position, while Vidhi, B.A. First Year, secured the third position.
The programme was efficiently coordinated by Dr. Anuradha, Head of the Department of Geography, while Dr. Alka and Dr. Bhumika served as members of the judging panel.
At the conclusion of the programme, all the members and participants present took a pledge to protect the environment. Dr. Subodh and Pooja, along with the entire college staff, were also present during the event.
