Tanisha Secures First Position in Mehndi Competition
Rohtak: A Mehndi Competition was organised by the Department of Home Science, Government College for Women, Lakhan Majra, Rohtak, on the college campus. The competition was organised with the objective of encouraging creativity and artistic skills among students and providing them with an opportunity to showcase their talent.
The students participated enthusiastically and displayed their creativity through beautiful Mehndi designs. After a close competition, Tanisha, a B.A. III-year student, secured the first position. Riya, a B.A. III-year student, secured the second position, while the third position was also awarded to a B.A. I-year student. Renu, a B.A. Final-year student, received the consolation prize.
The Principal, Mrs. Indu Sapra, appreciated the efforts of all the participating students and encouraged them to take part in such co-curricular activities. She highlighted that such programmes help in enhancing students’ confidence, creativity and artistic expression.
The competition was successfully organised under the coordination of Dr. Asha, Convenor, Home Science Society, and Dr. Indu, Assistant Professor. The organisers congratulated all the participants and wished them success in their future endeavours.
