Kargil Vijay Diwas Observed at Government Women's College, Lakhan Majra
Government Women's College, Lakhan Majra, observed Kargil Vijay Diwas on 23 July 2026 with great patriotism and respect under the guidance of Acting Principal Mrs. Anita Amani. The programme honoured the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice during the Kargil War.
The event was coordinated by Mr. Sachin Dalal, Assistant Professor. Mr. Parveen Punia, Assistant Professor, addressed the students on the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas and encouraged them to uphold the values of patriotism, duty, and service to the nation.
Students paid tribute to the martyrs through patriotic songs, creating an atmosphere of national pride and remembrance. The programme concluded with a collective pledge to uphold the unity, integrity, and sovereignty of the nation.
