Successful Organization of Orientation Programme

An orientation programme was successfully organized on Thursday for newly admitted students at Government College for Women, Lakhan Majra, under the able guidance of Principal Mrs. Indu Sapra.
The main objective of the programme was to familiarize first-year students with the college's academic environment, culture, resources, facilities and various activities.
The programme commenced with an inspiring address by Principal Indu Sapra. Welcoming the newly admitted students, she said that the process of learning in life never ends. The habit of continuous learning helps an individual move in the right direction, seek proper guidance and become capable of guiding others in the future.
The Principal familiarized the students with the rules and regulations of the college, discipline, moral values and a positive educational environment. She encouraged the students to clearly define their dreams and goals and work towards achieving them with continuous effort, discipline and strong determination.
She emphasized that success does not come in a single day; rather, it is achieved gradually through small steps and continuous efforts. With self-confidence, dedication and consistent hard work, a person can certainly turn their dreams into reality.
During the programme, Heads of Departments and coordinators of various committees introduced the first-year students to their respective departments, curricula and committee activities. The students were also made familiar with various academic and extracurricular opportunities available in the college.
