Government College for Women, Lakhan Majra Organises Successful World Entrepreneurship Day Celebration

Government College for Women, Lakhan Majra successfully organised an Entrepreneurship Fortnight on the occasion of World Entrepreneurship Day, marking a commendable initiative towards building a self-reliant India. The programme was organised under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Indu Sapra and conducted under the joint supervision of the Placement Cell and Internship Cell. During the fortnight, various activities such as an Entrepreneurship Day celebration, slogan writing and idea-generation activities were organised, in which students participated enthusiastically. Students presented their innovative ideas, creative concepts and entrepreneurial thoughts, effectively highlighting the importance of self-employment, innovation and self-reliance. The activities provided students with an opportunity to express their ideas and develop an entrepreneurial mindset. At the conclusion of the programme, winners of various activities were felicitated and encouraged for their enthusiastic participation. The initiative played an important role in developing entrepreneurial thinking, creativity, confidence and a spirit of self-reliance among the students, while also highlighting the important role of youth in building a self-reliant India (Atmanirbhar Bharat).
