‘Yuva Udyami Yatra’ Organised at Government College for Women, Lakhan Majra

A ‘Yuva Udyami Yatra’ (Young Entrepreneur Journey) was organised at Government College for Women, Lakhan Majra, under the leadership and guidance of Principal Mrs. Indu Sapra. The programme was organised with the objective of creating awareness among students about entrepreneurship, self-employment and startup opportunities.
The initiative was organised in collaboration with the Haryana Government to encourage the youth towards entrepreneurship and enable them to connect with the startup ecosystem. Through the programme, students were provided information about various opportunities, resources and avenues available in the field of entrepreneurship.
The programme was organised at the college in coordination with the Department of Industries and Commerce and with the support of the District Industries Centre, providing students with valuable information about entrepreneurship and the startup ecosystem.
The main objective of the programme was to develop an entrepreneurial mindset and a spirit of self-employment among students. Students were also made aware of the employment opportunities available in the startup sector and the various ways of connecting with the industrial ecosystem.
Students participated enthusiastically in the programme and gained valuable information about entrepreneurship, startups and available opportunities.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Mrs. Indu Sapra emphasised that in the changing times, young people should not remain limited to seeking conventional employment but should also explore self-employment and entrepreneurship and move forward towards becoming self-reliant.
The programme provided students with an opportunity to interact with and learn about the startup and industrial ecosystem, thereby encouraging them to consider entrepreneurship as a viable career option.
